When you do need to file a claim for a damaged shipment, our dedicated claims professionals will be there to help you through the process.

When a shipment is lost or damaged, you need to notify us as soon as possible. Claims can be submitted through our online claim portal or by emailing claims@centerlinepc.com.

Be sure to document all damage and prevent any further damage or loss to the cargo. All claims must be reported within 10 days of delivery or 5 days of discovering concealed damage. Failure to do so may result in denial of your claim.

Here are a few items we will need to guarantee quick claim processing:

  • Insurance coverage confirmation or policy number
  • Bill of Lading
  • Delivery receipts, noting damage or exception or confirmation of non-delivery
  • Documentation of the amount of damage being claimed
  • Photos of the damage
